The Easter Dragon
Started as a sketch creating a creature from a strong shape, a tall trapezoid, this one soon became a squatty dragon with a caring gaze. It only made sense to have those massive legs entitle him to the role of #1 Easter Egg Hopper. Created as a hand drawn sketch and finished in digital paint. – Happy Easter!

Posted this sketch earlier today and it’s weirdness called me to give it some color. I’ve given them appropriate names – Spaced Reject Princess, Avo-the-Cado, and Mr. Badoobadoo.
Garrison and the Yeti
Concept art for my children’s book I’m working on Garrison the Stronghold. Just having fun coming up with different vignettes and we’ll see what makes it’s way into the story. Started the script at the end of January. This was actually all done on the iPad Pro as well, I don’t always work on that device but since it’s new I’ve been experimenting a lot on it.
War Fog – Painting Quick Study on iPad Pro
Started this one with abstract shapes on the iPad Pro in Procreate to test it’s painting ability. I like the lighting so it might be worth tightening up. Definitely channeling some of my days on Guild Wars 2 probably here…
